The Day of the Son
The Day of the Son

I look upon the morning dew.
And see life begin anew.
Reaching up to heaven above,
Seeking out the son of Love.

Many are but born to die.
But as for those who seek the sky,
Life will forever more be,
Guided by he who walked the sea.

Remember then his precious son,
Who lights the earth and makes the sun,
Today his day has just begun,
This a day we praise God's son.

Singing with voices high,
We send our spirits toward the sky.
We seek our hearts for love anew,
Then send all our love to you.

So gathering we but just a few.
Trodden down that morning, dew.
Bid this bread we make our bed.
And on this cup we praise and sup.
