Like everyone else, I sin. We all sin. You can check this out for yourself. Paul explains it to the Romans in Rom 3:23. So we know we all sin, because God said we do.

How come we do this?

We know it’s wrong, but we’re human beings. God made us with the ability to know right and wrong. God gave us a choice to do right from wrong. Our parents usually teach us that at a young age. We also have a choice to pick what to do. You know, decide what kind of person we’d like to be. And yes, it’s most likely a funner life to run with the devil, but is it right? Absolutely not! You know, after a long time of thinking this over I thought about the time here on earth and how short it is, if you think about heaven and eternity… which starts in the middle (now) and goes right and left, past and future, and doesn’t end. Kinda hard to take in, huh? But when you think about that, compared to our time on earth, which is around 60-80 years (unless tragedy happens) that really isn’t very long.

So what I’m saying is that why not? Why not live this puny little time span as a faithful Christian? It’s not even a tenth of a second compared to the eternity in Heaven.

I’d like to give everyone one last point. Just think about our Savior, Jesus, and understand this. Jesus didn’t have even one second of sinful pleasure. Isn’t that amazing? He never sinned, not even once. What a guy huh? And what a role model to follow, a teacher and a trainer. Why not be like him? It’s a short struggle but a great reward!
